Obama Campaign Tries to Shut Down Chicago Radio Show

-By Warner Todd Huston
Members of Barack Obama’s campaign HQ in Chicago tried to shut down a local radio show on the City’s most powerful radio signal, WGN 720, because they didn’t like a conservative guest that was on going on the air to discuss Senator Barack Obama’s ties to local terrorist William Ayers. This is a shocking attempt at stifling political free speech and a bald attempt to quash debate by the office of the Democratic Party’s nominee. The funny thing is, WGN is the most liberal station in the City with every host but one slavishly supporting the junior Senator from Illinois.

When communist global financier and socialist philanthropist and Open Society Institute founder George Soros hosted 2004 Democratic presidential nominee Sen. John Kerry [D-MA], Soros invited him to his private retreat in the Hamptons where "buyers and sellers" can talk without reporters overhearing quid pro quo conversations that might not be construed as legal to the wrong ears.

When Soros hosted a major fund raiser for unknown Illinois State Senator Barack Hussein Obama in the fall of 2004, the soiree took place at his New York home. That evening Soros wasn't buying either a President or a prospective US Senator. He was simply fishing in a new political stream.

Soros intended to snag the young political fish, reel him in just a little—but keep him on the hook, letting him grow until he was mature enough to fit Soros' plans. And what were his plans? It appears Soros, who was born on Aug. 12, 1930 in Budapest, Hungary, would like to President of the United States. Of course, because he is not a natural-born American, he has to be content to be a surrogate president—the puppet master who pulls the strings of the man in the Oval Office.

"Let's be blunt: If John McCain wins the election and drops dead during his first year in office, someone not very experienced will become president.

But the same is true if Barack Obama wins the election and doesn't drop dead during his first year in office."

TERROR & TORTURE IN MEXICO
Eight dead bodies were found Tuesday alongside messages from drug gangs in the northern Mexican city of Tijuana, where 16 dead bodies were found a day earlier. Six of the bodies found Tuesday in the city along the US border were inside barrels with sulfuric acid in the city center, while the two others were found in the suburbs.

The public prosecutor’s office in the state of Baja California said the barrels included a message.

“This is what happens to the engineer, and we will make stew with all those who are with him,” the message said.

Iran Poses Biggest Threat to Iraq's Stability, Pentagon Says
By Ed Johnson

Iranian support for Shiite militia groups poses the biggest threat to long-term stability in Iraq, where recent improvements in security are ``fragile,'' the U.S. Defense Department said.

Iran continues to ``fund, train, arm and direct'' groups intent on destabilizing its neighbor and its influence in Iraq is ``malign,'' the Pentagon said in its quarterly report to Congress.

While civilian deaths between June and August were down 77 percent on the same period last year, Iraq faces unresolved issues that may trigger fresh violence, including the status of the oil city of Kirkuk and the integration of Sunni tribesmen into the security forces, according to the report.
